Marilyn Ah-Wa is a Registered Provisional Member of NZAC working as a Counselor with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Counselling. Marilyn has completed training in 5 Modalities of Counselling (see below). She studied with the New Zealand Institute of Professional Counselling to obtain a Level 6 Diploma in Counselling. Marilyn is a mature counselor, a single parent who has had many different experiences in her life that gives her counselling depth to her work, empathy for others, strategies and skills that have been very effective in working with her clients. Marilyn has facilitated her own strength based workshops as well as facilitating grief groups and individual bereavement support counselling through Hospice and is also the Creative Coordinator and Facilitator for Feeling Fab a Charitable Trust who offer pamper days for women experiencing grief and loss. Marilyn is currently working at The Community Hub offering one to one Counselling Services for Individuals in Whangaparoa on the Hibiscus Coast in New Zealand Counselling Sessions include: Length : 50 minutes per session Frequency: Weekly Cost: Sliding Scale Cancellation Policy: 24 hours notice to enable re-booking another client if unable to attend your session. |
